i did the DIY stacks today and when i put the bolt in for the gas tank (the smaller on by the battery) it snapped off in the threads. i have the other 3 in, but i have no idea how to get the rest of the bolt out. is it okay to just have 3 or should i take it somewhere to have it removed?

Most likely.

But I wouldn't put it off.One thing leads to another and the next thing you know, your bike is a piece of neglected junk.

its alittle late for a pic now, its back together, minus the bolt. u cant even really tell the extractor is in it, it sits almost flush w/ the broken bolt.

If you want to fix it,you could use a dremel to grind a divit in the center of the extractor so that a sharp titanium bit will drill into it.

In the future, when useing a extractor, tap and die,etc....always use hand tools and cutting oil.

With that said, you can also drill it out (after grinding a divit) and tap it to a lager size bolt.
