I got mine for even 9k OTD in June I belive. Basicly theres no point for the most part worrying about how much you paid. Hell I dunno any one on this fourm who paid more ( Or at least admits to it) Then I did but doesnt concern me in the slightest. What matters is that your happy with the bike and that the money you parted with was well worth the investment.

NOt to mention the time you buy it dictates the price, such as myself and luckydevil got the bikes when they were extreamly new in the market and durring the summer. If you buy your bikes in the colder months and/or as the next years model is about to or already has rolled off into the show room you most deffently will get better price.

But then you have to buy on a time table, and I rather get the bike when I am ready for it heh. So yah be happey with your bike, and dont even look at what other people got it for because in the end it really doesnt matter, the bike ROCKS and I woulda paid 10k if I had to :cruising:

It all depends on your state also. Some have no sales tax and some have alot. Some have registration fees that are high and some don't. Cali is the worst hit by the prices so that's where your going to pay more for the bike.

Ditto what Marshall said. It's pretty pointless to compare OTD prices between states.

That said, I got mine for about 8300 OTD in California. Includes 8.25% sales tax, and all the usual fees and such. It was a good price back in September.

You got a great deal if your price includes tax. There are good deals to be had right now as the dealers try to clear inventory for 04.

I've heard the prices of bikes in Cali are the same year round because that weather is warmer.

I was holding out for a 2004 model, but couldn't pass up $7099 on the 2003s they were trying to clear out to make room for the new ones. All in all about $7500 otd. Now if it would just warm up so I can ride it!

Jason, actually I just got on www.bellshonda.com and emailed for a quote. They quoted $7099. I picked it up two days later. Easiest bike purchase ever. Two weeks ago they still had a red RR and two yellow ones. They were making some pretty good deals on the 954s as well. They hooked it up on financing as well, no Honda card and 6.9% for 4 yrs.

Cool... small world. I haven't had a chance to do a track day yet, but have a feeling this year will be the year. He got my dad up with him last year and I think they had a good time. Are you racing an RR?
