Don't worry about getting your knee down. Concentrate on being smooth in everything that you do on the track. Smooth on the throttle, smooth off the throttle. smooth on the brakes, smooth off the brakes, smooth transitions from side to side, you get the idea. The knee will come with more tracktime, and you will get the hang of it pretty quick. Good luck and enjoy your new addiction.

To back up what ridge is saying, your lean angle will come with time and more speed through the corners. Dragging your knee is NOT a goal to guage yourself by. People can hang off the bike like a monkey and still not be very fast. Your knee is used as a reference to where the ground is. That's all.

dont worry about getting your knee down, it doesnt make you faster or anything, its just when you get faster you can use it as a "feeler" on how close the ground is, and how much gas you can give for a given lean angle.
