so i was wondering if anyone knew of anyone who had put an after market speedo on their cbr before.

im curious because i had my first stoppey gone wrong thanks to a truck slamming on brakes in front of me in a busy street. and the speedo just popped right out... the mounting tabs are broken, im wondering about screwing into the holes that remain with larger/longer screws and just cutting my own threads with the scew...

but if someone knew of an aftermarket speedo that worked, that would be awesome...

just reuse the one you have, cut a slot in the screw and screw it into the hole. Aftermarket units are expensive. more expensive then getting another oem cluster.

Get a Veypor VR2, $220 or so, and it can do dyno's, qtr miles, drag calculations, lap times, etc, etc.
