Am I the only one that had a bitch of a time getting aftermarket front turn signals to fit?
Once I removed the whole front body work I could tell the air boxes would make this a tough job.
I used LP's short stalk II's. I took them appart, then cut 1/8" off the stud. That way the trun signals would not be too long and push the body work out. Then I had to make room for the wires. I took the turn signal's studs to the grinder. Basiclly I ground off 1/3 of the diameter of the stud, and ground the nut mostly the same way. All the grinding was necessary to make room for the two wires.
I then installed the turn signals, tightened them down and then installed the wires and lights. As an added measure of protection, I wrapped the wires in electrical tape.
Sorry I did not take any pictures. If any one really needs pictures, let me know. I will take it all appart and get some. It's too cold to ride any way.

Good job. It took me about 5 hours to install my flush mount sigs in the front as I didn't want to scratch anything so I took my time. Winter is mod time baby.

lp lights suck donkey balls. i am in the process of getting a replacement set because my rears were made like **** and and ended up melting. also, the front clip that holds the lens in broke on one of the fronts. at least they are replacing them for free.

I was talking aboutthe secind link. I know here in Cali you can get them at cycle gear for $10. then you can jsut shave down the plastic piece if needed. I've seen it done on an RR and it looked great.
