so i bought the yoshi rs-5 today for my 06cbr600rr, and someone said i should get a new air filter. what kind do i need, and is the install for the air filter tricky? is there a thread on here about air filters? anyone? thanks!

and u listend to this some1? ill tell ya what, im just some other some1... u dont need to get one unless the guys at the shop said u should get one.. at which case, ask them, "which one gives me the most proformance" and they'll hook u up... but, if your gonna come to the fourm, we kindly ask that u use the search.. k&n.. there, u cant say i was a jerk now can u?

If you have over 8k miles on the bike or live in a very dusty/dirty area then your OEM filter should be fine. I would also recommend you stick with the stock filter.
