What are the best A* leather gloves. Not the textile/mesh gloves. I am looking for a nice looking full length cool gloves that can be worn for everyday/twisties. I thought the GP pro gloves are cool, but they are $180. Any suggestions/experiences.

I don't think they are even close to the best, but I don't mind the SP2. I paid like $69 from Sinister. I also have very little experiences with other gloves.
I have the SP2's, CF knuckle protection etc.. Theyre my everyday/twisties glove. The only thing it doesnt have is the dual wrist closure.
the BEST Alpinestars gloves are the brand new GP Tech Gloves. Call me for the best deals on alpinestars gloves... they are a few to choose from that will work very well for your riding needs... and will be less than $100.00.

Cheers... Nick - MRI

I have the GP Plus gloves, and I love 'em...Alpine Stars tend to run small though...so if you're gunna order them, take that into concideration...I also have a pair of SP3's in red and black. They're nice too, not as much protection as the GP series...but duh...they're like, 1/4th of the price...:bitchslap:

For every day riding...might I suggest...the S-MX air-carbon? Nick...how are these gloves? They look pretty sweet, the comfort of an MX glove, with more protection...what are your thoughts?

I have the SMX air-carbons, and have been using them for about 8 months. Great gloves, and are perfect no matter how hot is outside. The S-MX 5 gloves are perferated leather and would be good for hot weather riding.
Both are short gloves, so might not be what the original poster was looking for.
If your going to get the GP Plus go ahead and spend the extra couple bux and get the pro's. I got the pro's and I love them!
I got the pros and they're soooo much better than the plus...

Kangaroo leather is sweet.
I have the pros also...takes a little bit to break in, but nice after that

me too...pro's....love em!!

They definitely do run small though. I originally ordered the sp1's in a large and could not even get my hands into them. so then I got the pro's in an extra large.
The price diff in the plus and pro is very little and the diff in the glove is huge.
