Is it possible to fix the clutch side alternator cover with some type of an epoxy resine and use it again??, My local dealer wants way too much for an OEM and I have to wait a couple weeks for an aftermarket one. The bike slid on that side and wore a 1/4" hole in the cover. I removed it and cleaned the small pieces out. Is there much for pressure on that side?. I have seen this done many times with dirtbikes and quads but Im not sure in this case. Thanks.

Ebay is your friend. And actually the alternator/generator/stator is on the left side and the clutch/crankcase is on the other. The are always on ebay and I think the last one I watched went for $85 and it was flawless.

Some JB Weld might do it if you could get it absolutly clean(i.e. no oil residue) before you applied it to the inside and outside. But that is really cheap fix and don't know if I would let it go long term.
