i did alot of research before tackling this job, found a couple write up and followed exactly what they said. i went to radio shack bought 1n5400 diodes, soldered them in where they should be and i have the same problem the blinkers are sticking on, i also have a plug and play intergrated tailight. can someone help?

If you have LEDs front and rear you need to either put resistors in parallel with the rest of it or get yourself a new (LED compatible) flasher relay.

Resistors will make your signals flash "or a flasher relay"
Diodes will make your 2 wire led's be running/signals like stock

As T said, the resistors and diodes do different jobs. You need the resistors to imitate the load of the original globe.

At the moment your bike thinks that the globes are blown so it just turns them on, if you have one globe one LED, it will flash fast telling you that you have only one globe blown. Its called a burnt out bulb indicator (BoB) and as far as the bike is concerned LEDs look like burnt out bulbs.
