I'm thinking about it and trying to justify the cost. 140€ is about $200 CAD / $160 USD at the moment (damn our exchange rate sucks).

I watch the races free and in HD right now which makes it hard to pony up the cash. But the multi-screen and archive access is what's luring me.

Question for anyone who's subscribed in the past: Since I'll be watching most of the races hours after it's over, are there any spoilers when logging into the video app? The last thing I want to see is a big headline that says "Marquez takes checkered flag again!" That would be a deal breaker for sure.

Also, I assume that all of the multi-screen, timing, etc play on-demand as if it's live?

Forget the app. It's rarely working.

There is a "No-spoiler" videos page that lists the videos without any news or hints. That's what I am using. Keep in mind that the multiscreen is an additional charge

That's good to know, thanks man. Yea I know the multiscreen is extra but it's the extras that are luring me away from torrents.
So when you're watching on the computer you're just logging into their site whether it's multiscreen or not? For some reason I thought you had to downoad a PC app for that too.

Downloaded the app on nexus5, oneplus one, samsung galaxy tab3 and could not login. At all

Everything worked fine through the browser though. Only sometimes the scroll bar did not cooperate :) at all.

I just login once and have the no spoiler page bookmarked. Never tried the multiscreen to be honest.

I watch it on the iPad using the nospoilers feature and it works perfectly. It's also nice to be able to watch some of the older races during the off season.

It's also great to be able to watch MotoGP in bed on Sunday then flip on the TV and watch the F1 race on my DVR.

One thing that you have to remember is your membership goes until Nov. or last race of the season. So you don't get any after season tests, etc. unless you sign up again.

Cost is steep, I don't know how much you'll be using the multi-screen. I suggest you get the regular, you can always add on later and just upgrade your package by paying the difference.

I think it's a good price even though it's in Euros. 1 euros is about $1.13 USD. Definitely worth it!

Maybe I will try out the multiscreen for one race and see if it's worth it for me. If I'm just going to watch the main feed then I might as well stick with torrenting.

The damn MotoGP homepage always has a picture of the winner.

The best way to do it is go splits on it with a few others.
I've been paying ~$35/year for the last two years and enjoying full access.
That's not a bad idea. Maybe I can convince a buddy or two to go splits on it with me.

I'm also a big fan of video pass. I don't think it's too expensive, but I watch all the practices, archives, tests, etc., which is worth the price for me. My satellite bill per month is more expensive than a year of video pass, so I don't mind.

I prefer the multi screen. Kinda nice to be able to stream with my laptop connected to the big screen and see live timing, whatever rider I want, plus the tv feed, and switch whenever I want.

There's no Windows app, you just go to m o t o g p . com and go to the videos. That means having to navigate past the pages that list the times and winners, but I just cover that stuff up with my hand when I need to.

Been a continual subscriber since 2007 or so. For me there's no other way to experience it apart from going to a race. Totally worth it. The price for a whole season is not that expensive considering what you get. Every race, qualifying, and practice of every season back to 1992 anytime you want. The multi-screen thing is cool but make sure your computer & ISP connection is up to snuff. I'll still watch the broadcast feed+helicopter feed for the race but often I'll rewatch from a certain rider point of view or detail on things that happen. I'll never go back to watching TV broadcasts of it. I'm not into torrents because it is theft. There are a lot of people and money that go into producing these. If the whole world thinks they can just be parasites then you can kiss MotoGP goodbye. **** costs money. They have to pay for it somehow. They can't exactly torrent a seamless transmission or sattelite M1 to race with.

Bookmark the No Spoilers page and you won't have any problem. The problem you'll have is avoiding twitter, forums like this, or anywhere else you might get results before you watch.

You consciously have to keep yourself away from all social media until you can watch the race. Been there too many times when you mindlessly log into FB and there is the podium shot. Your instincts make you quickly jerk away and shield your eyes, then you pretend you didn't really see what you thought you saw...but you know...you just know...

Lol disco so true.

Pdub, thanks for your review I appreciate it. I won't argue the ethics of torrenting. I just don't care is what it boils down to. That being said, Motogp is not broadcast in Canada as far as I know. So there's no affordable alternative to watching the races. You either pay a subscription for more than the average viewer wants or go pirate.

actually our exchange rate is better than it has every been! so now is the time to enjoy the great exchange rate.

if you do go with it... when you go to their website, at the end of the .com put /en/videos-nospoiler. Its how i view from my ipad as well.

It just puts hot link, no images or articles. :)

I'm really not sure how long i went without it?? i would PVR from Speed TV in HD. Until you experience the NO commercials, plus all the qual/FP's, podium, and post race interview you dont know what your missing. Best advice is try and split the cost with a buddy, thats what im doing. Soooo happy to have it now and looking forward to this year!!! love it and highly rec it ;)

I usually split my mlb.tv package w/ 3 other guys for the past few years and it's been great.

Anyone know how many users can watch a race simultaneously?

BUMP. Frikkin Xfinity doesn't have Fox Sports 2 in my area. Gonna get the Video Pass but for you guys who have the MultiScreen, not sure if I can justify it?

What makes the MultiScreen so great? What kind of special "angles" do they have? Can I still watch archived videos with just the season pass? Will probably watch of my mommy's Ipad since she never uses it..

Multi screen lets you view several riders onboard cameras, helicopter shot, live timing, and live tracking.

You can indeed watch the archive without multi screen.

Thanks wiz. You're on the same level if not higher on the motogp competence than CBR time  I appreciate it. Will have to sleep on that.. Several rides at once is tempting..
