Go to your local UPS store and get help. The only time I did it I had the boxes from the new sharkskinz I just purchased....it was easy then, but I was amazed at the size of the boxes....UPS has everything you need!
Myself and another member here shipped our plastics (body trade) via UPS. I got the big box from U-Haul. It cost just about $90 including insurance for $1500.
I cleaned and waxed the parts, then wrapped them in cling wrap. Then put a few inches of popcorn cushion on the bottom of the box, put the parts in and filled the voids with the popcorn stuff.
it worked out pretty well.
One big box with everything spaced out between bubble wrap worked best for me.
I disagree with placing fragile stickers all over though. Everytime I do that at work they seem to treat it like crap. Usually the corners get dented so keep parts away from corners.
Hi all, apologies in advance for the negative 1st post but i have a 2003 RR which wouldn't start although fuel pump was ok etc just span really fast on the button but wouldn't fire. Turns out cylinders 1 and 4 had 40 psi and 2 and 3 20 psi so engine pretty well toast although was running fine...
