Just signed up for my first track day, I was curious if anyone else was going to be at this one. I'll be there with my brother, doing ART I. He's in the Red group, so I probably won't be riding with him.

I'll be there on my orange scoot, say whatup if you see me.

Ok, so silly question, how do you guys disconnect the lights? Just remove the connectors at the bulb behind the dustcover? How about the brake light?

I thought you could just remove the fuses, but I'm having trouble finding the info.

Just unplug the connectors at the headlight itself. You might wanna ziptie them to something so they aren't just flapping around all day. Then just take the whole rear fender off (there are 4 bolts holding it on the subframe) and you just gotta disconnect the tail light and turn signal connectors.

If you remove the fuses the bike won't start, if I remember correctly.

Just disconnect your left headlight which is the low beam from behind the dust cover, and just tape over your tail light with blue painters tape if you dont feel like disconnecting it.
Are you running poconos east? Hopefully! Good luck and welcome to a new addiction.

Well, I didn't bother disconnecting either, I was in a hurry due to a slightly late arrival, so I just taped them up.

I had a great time, though, props to TPM for putting on a great track day, despite mother nature's best attempts to ruin it. It was pretty wet throughout the day, but not pouring or anything. I was impressed with the tires in the rain, and probably more impressed with myself for handling the bike as well as I did in those conditions.

Anyways, here are two pics I'm planning on purchasing. Forgive the proof watermarks, I haven't put the order in just yet.

The first one is funny, I noticed the photographer, and being the photo geek that I am, I had to check out his gear... ;)
