They look OEM ( OEM headers are Stainless steel )

hard to tell from there but you have a stock silencer so stock headers are most likely.

03/04 started off as mild steel. changes to stainless later on.

is the cat still there? if yes, then most likely yes stock.. I don't think anyone will ever swap out the manifold and keep the cat..

sure in ca models and it's not the p type :crackup: in this case :cruising: cat = Catalytic converter :cruising:

The main impetus for re-designing motorcycles for a while has less been about performance, and more about meeting European emissions and noise standards (Euro3, then Euro4 and 5). If you look at stock pipes today, to meet Euro5 standards they have humongous catalytic converter boxes. Euro4 was in 2005; Euro5 was in 2009 - which aligns with changes in the 600RRs exhaust system (gain of cat in 2005, loss of 5 upper range hp in 2009)
