i stumbled upon the ASV F3 levers on cycle sector and they look just like the C5 but 50 bones cheaper for the set
anybody have any experience with them?
i noticed it said that there forged does that make a difference
(sorry if this is old new that already has came up but i didn't find anything on it)
please some reviews if there is any because i love the look and adjustability of ASV just not the price tag

f3 are forged aluminum with 3 year warenty and the c5 are CNC'd aluminum with a 5 year warenty.. that is about the only difference

Had the f3's been out when I ordered my regular ASV's, I would have saved the money and gotten them instead.

You're getting the same adjustability and same "unbreakable" guarantee.

and the warranty isnt a big deal by 3years who know if ill even has this bike anymore

thats kind of what i figured but its def. not worth the 50 extra bucks being im not that aggressive of a rider but i think the upgrade from stock to the forged will still be a big step up and they look good too

I've had this same dilemma. I believed the color availability is different as well. The C5's have the the black in matte which I like better. Maybe not $50 better though.

I like the touch, the feel of my C5. But in general ASV makes some good, solid levers. It doesn't look cheap like other brands.

I'm on the same boat as you. I can't decide on whether to get the F3 or the C5.

f3's are a very shiny finish vs the matte type finish of the c5. also the c5's are made to bend if you go down which will keep you going after you crash. the f3's will just snap based on their design.

im so torn, everything is matte black on my bike, so i want the c5's, but its true, not quite worth $50 more..

im thinkin bout SUPER fine grit sanding down the gloss..
I matte painted my stock levers and it looks good, but occasional chips..

but i might end up payin more for less work..
