After losing his ride with the Alstare Suzuki Corona Extra team in World Superbike for 2007, 1996 and 2005 World Champion Troy Corser has now agreed to terms to ride for the Yamaha Motor Italia squad in 2007, alongside Noriyuki Haga.
Haga has now also agreed terms with the Italian "factory" Yamaha squad once again in what is believed to be a one year deal. Andrew Pitt, who was expecting to re-sign with the Yamaha Motor Italia squad for some time, has now been ousted at the 11th hour, but may still find a berth in World Superbike - perhaps in the Ten Kate squad, though the Honda team is still hoping to sign Alex Barros.
Looks like Biaggi Riding for his buddy is already taking its affect.
