After losing his ride with the Alstare Suzuki Corona Extra team in World Superbike for 2007, 1996 and 2005 World Champion Troy Corser has now agreed to terms to ride for the Yamaha Motor Italia squad in 2007, alongside Noriyuki Haga.

Haga has now also agreed terms with the Italian "factory" Yamaha squad once again in what is believed to be a one year deal. Andrew Pitt, who was expecting to re-sign with the Yamaha Motor Italia squad for some time, has now been ousted at the 11th hour, but may still find a berth in World Superbike - perhaps in the Ten Kate squad, though the Honda team is still hoping to sign Alex Barros.

Looks like Biaggi Riding for his buddy is already taking its affect.

Glad to hear it. Now Troy just needs to learn to keep the bike shiny side up and he'll do ok :)

Sucks that Andrew Pitt lost his Yamaha ride. I don't understand why. He's doing pretty well this year.

I hope he gets that Ten Kate ride with Toseland. That way Barros can stay with Klaffi.

I can see that Biaggi>>>Corser, but Corser>>>Pitt: I don't know about that. I guess they are both equal.

Corser's time is up, I think. He won last year because Suzuki made a bad-ass bike. And this year proves that Bayliss is just a better rider than Corser.

Some weird changes going on in WSB.

Why should we? He's good, but he's old! Pitt knows the R1, has been very consistent this year, and now they kick him off! The commentators today hinted that Nori is threatened by Andrew Pitt and would rather have Corser on the team... too much politics, man!
