I just wanted to say this to you all out of concern for your safety. I know flushmount signals look nice, but just be careful if you use them. Last night was the first time a biker turned left in front of me at an intersection (amazingly, it was really the first time!). He had really dim (or poorly angled) flushmounts, and if I didn't specifically hunt for his blinker, I simply would not have seen it blinking. If I didn't look out for him, there might have been a collision that night.

If you are going to install flushmounts, bear in mind that they might be practically invisible to oncoming motorists. If a motorist is sitting behind a windshield with all that competing glare, it's not necessarily his fault if he doesn't see your blinker. You've done just about the best thing to make yourself and your intentions invisible to him, short of removing your headlight.

That is definitley right. Mainly during the day. From what people have told me, my flushmounts are pretty difficult to see during the day.....however, I've been told at night they are very visible. Anyways, the best way to avoid this is pretend they can't see your blinker. A blinker is there to let people know what you're doing....not to change their actions, you should be making a turn unless you could make it wheather the people coming at you slow down or not....hell, I make sure I could make it even if they floored it at me.....cause you know some of them do

Yeah, my buddy installed flush mounts on his R1 and some little short stalks on the rear. Riding behind him in the day and you can't see either set b/c they are so faint. It's a little better at night, but still not anywhere near as clear as the stockers. I'm still debating on some short stalks if I can find any bright enough.

Very true indeed. Here is what it would look like from the front if you had flushmounts. I only ride during the daytime, since I don't have a license plate light, but always use hand signals too.

You don't ride at night because you don't have a licens plate light :?: :?: Put one on man, put one on! Get those Lite Boltz from Summit racing, they work great!

I like my matte black japanese spec diamond shaped amber stock signals! They look way better than the north america versions. That can be a good alternative to some of you guys out there that are concerned with safety and want to stay with stock stuff.

It doesnt come with a running light, but just a simple modification to the bulbs knubs will allow the running light.

I have noticed that whenever I use hand signals, I get a lot more attention from the cagers than with just turn signals alone.

BlackAkumaRR...that picture looks awesome!!!!! :cheerss:
