Thanks! I did get a nice stretch of open track! It was the last session of the day so it had thinned out pretty well.

yeah dude, i was at mid ohio on monday and lots of people were packin up after the second to last session. i was stoked cus i kept getting stuck behind those guys that go so slow through the turns then the second the straight away shows up they turn into a ******* drag racer then SLAM on the brakes to half ass another turn. so annoying. cant pass in the turns in novice and i couldnt go up to intermediate cus i wasnt running waterwetter. next time ill be ready
I wanted to do Mid-O either Mon or Tue, but I'm too busy at work with Quarter End. Did you have good weather? I haven't been there yet this year (not happy about that!). I posted up a couple vids from Mid-O last year. That's one of my favorite tracks! It does seem to be pretty difficult to pass there though...

Have you riddent Nelson before? It's really bumpy, but it's still a lot of fun. Moto Series puts on a fun, laid-back event. I posted some vids (URL below) mine is OK, Sam's is really good!

I have never been there, in fact this will be my first track day ever! =) I have ridden for years though. I am pretty excited! I live in Franklin Park which if you know there area of course, is in the North Hills. I have been to route 250 I believe it is in WV. That road is nice, Also Route 7 down there.
You'll have fun! The track is rough, but it's probably a good place to start. Any track you go to after that will seem smooth.
You're in the right area on RT 250 and RT 7. Fun stuff across the river in OH as well. I'll send you a PM.

i was gonna do that one but im taking my girlfriend on a little weekend getaway for her birthday that weekend. ill be there in august tho. anyways i dont know how to post links to other threads but go onto my profile and look under the threads i started and look at my first trackday thread and youll get a good understanding of what it was like at Nelson. awesome!

Your pics look really good for only your first track day! It looks like you had a good time! I had to laugh when you wrote that anyone that said it's too rough is a sissy. People who think it's too rough should tell Sam in the attached vid. He's riding the same track I am, but getting around it 10+ seconds a lap faster. Great vid - Very humbling!!!

jeeze! that dude is COOKIN! makes me want to get back out there so bad! but thanks man! i was workin hard out there to apply everything i learned and make my comfort zone faster every lap.

thats so gnarly. do you by chance know a dude named Jinu? he rides a 03 blue 600rr. number 99. hes an instructor there.
I don't know him. I've only been to Nelson 3 times...
