Anyone use one of these or have a recommendation? Preferably one that is native to using a sony action cam (standard camera/tripod mount) instead of a gopro but I can get the adapter if necessary.

why put the camera on the mirrow bracket? is one of the weakest point concerning vibration on our bikes.

I've had no problems with shaky footage whatsoever. The mirrors vibrate as they're on the end of a long thin arm. The mounting holes are on the fairing stay and are a solid position to mount a camera.

Bent L-bracket with mirror hole drilled and a stick-on camera mount?

Almost, yes. I made the mount from scratch out of 4mm thick aluminium plate and filed it to shape before putting the bend in and drilling the holes. Then finally painted it up and allowed it to harden before adding the stick on mount.

I posted how I made it in my build thread. Post #89 onwards shows the process.
