We are having an RR meet this weekend, I don't think we mind riding with the same bikes. It depends on you and your friend, I don't see the big deal
Best mate, or bike?
My best mate was supposed 2 sell me his 03 RR as he was buying the new 1000RR but it fell through. I have been looking in2 it and i can buy the 03 with rear seat cow and exhaust at a pretty reasonable price, but 4 a few thousand more i can purchase a brand spanking new 04 RR with seat cow and pipe and the colour that i want (red and black) but it would be a lot harder to come up with the extra money. As i will be riding with my best mate do u think its wrong if i had the same bike as him? grandmasterb down under

why would it be wrong? the RR is a bad ace bike.
i have a yellow 03 and the guy i ride with most of the time has the exact same bike (but with more scares on her :wink: ) trick is to make the bike your own. add those little mods that make her say grandmasterb, like a grandmasterb sticker. which, by the way, you get purchase from the 600rr.com online store (that shameless plug was for you JB)
as for 03 or 04. if the 03 hasn't be ragged out, i'd say go for the 03. it's basicly the same bike between 04 and 03. so, it wouldn't really be worth the money to get the 04 just for the color. it'd be cheaper to by the 03 and make it looke like an 04 (red and black). btw, what color is the 03?

Yeah well thats what i thought, and i already know how 2 make the bike mine, as i was thinking of some air brushing some graphics or something on it, mayb a fender illiminator kit and a few other litttle things. As for the colour of the 03, its the red, grey and black which is one of the aussie colours. grandmasterb
One of my budies i ride with has a yellow RR, we got diff. mods, but we ride with a red one too, and a few Kaw's and a couple R1's. (notice no gixxers?) If he's your bro, it won't matter, just enjoy the ride. You should get a yellow one, they are faster. j/k Other than color and mods, it's still an RR, spend what you can afford, then save up for the rest. Just my .02
i dont think its a big deal, everywhere you look you see groups of 10 all with a blue and white gixxer. just ride and have fun!
well dayum brotha, you're half way to an 04 paint scheme... either paint the tail and lowers or replace them with 04 parts. i would personally go for the paint....
