i remember the German GP where the top 4 finished within tenths of seconds of each other. I was doing backflips and was literally sweating that last lap. I haven't seen a race that close in years.

Mugello was another, with 2 italians on the Podium.

what a great season.

Assen with Edwards blowing it at the end was the best I have seen this year. Pretty exciting. Hayden needed the win but it would have been cool if Edwards would have won.

Definitely, Mugello and the Sachsenring for me. I don't know which one was #1, but I know those the two I watch very, very often. I also watch Laguna Seca a bit, only because Hayden was flying untouched. Occasionally, I'll watch Phillip Island because it has been the only wet race for the year...

yeah...and watchin Melandri's one-handed drift on the last turn is insane every single time.

Melandri's one handed drift doesn't compare to some of the backed out rears during the 500s. You should go take a look at some of those. And back then, you didn't have traction control to save YOUR rear if it caught back up.
