Being in Canada, we have to live with 5 months of snow, so the bike was in storage since Nov. Today, just went for my first ride of the season.

Had some issues with the power cutting off. Not sure why.

At a red light, the rpm would just go down below 1000 all of a sudden and I had to throttle up a bit just to keep it from stalling. When I got home, pulling up the driveway, the rpms went down below 1000 again and the bike shuts off along with all the lights and display.

Any ideas?

My bike is a 2005 CBR600RR. It has 11000 kms on it. All stock. The battery is pretty new, it was on a battery tender through out the winter. The bike was properly winterized (Oil and filter changed before storage, cleaned and lubed chain and sprockets.

Any help is appreciated.

The idle is normal. for 90% of the ride, the idle is at where it should be. Its only at a couple of times, the idle drops below 1000 on its own.
