I know this is weird so here it goes... i can start my bike all fine and dandy, then sometimes past 3 weeks, it just doesnt want to start? it tries to turn over, just doesnt start?

but wait it gets better, so i said okay must be the battery so i had a friend push me and we got it started everythings cool, i was like alright next day ill go get a new battery and check it out... so i go to the shop and they first test my battery and alternator and they say everything is okay? ( i was out of warranty anyways so its not like he was trying to save his own ass from putting in a new battery) (also i saw the little machine thingy myself and saw it was okay)

so im like okay maybe its just that time, for the next week it starts up totally fine everythings cool, then 3 days ago i just went to fill up air in my tires, boom again it wont start and does the same thing again as in the video.. had some people push me and then it started and now it runs again totally fine starts right up.... i dont know what to change? anyone had a similar occurance?

p.s. towards the end i was playing with the switches to show it wasnt on the kill switch... also i never touch that button anyways... but yeah
also i checked the wires everything connected great + no corrosion at all

Do you hear the fuel pump prime (makes a whining noise ) right after you turn they key on or not?
If it does prime hold the throttle wide open while hitting that starter button this way you won't foul the shark plugs

No whine in the fuel pump. Even if you don't use your run/stop switch this can be the problem. Had a customer with a 1000rr and his was messed up. Cleaned it out and it's working fine. Open it up and take a look. Flicking back and forth might not be enough. Get in there and make a physical contact.

Can be several things, I had a similar problem and it turned out that I flooded my engine. But in your case it could also be other things:

1. Spark plugs
2. Fuel Pump
3. run/stop switch
4. flooded engine (unlikely because you had it several times now)
5. cylinder compression problem (that would really suck and is unlikely)
6. fuel injection system (unlikely because then you would get a MIL code)

I'm no pro mechanic or anything like that so don't shoot me if it's wrong, I'm just quoting from my maintenance handbook.

if it were the fuel pump then would the bike bump start? there's still no fuel pressure no matter how you try to start it.

the only time this happened to me I found that the the idle speed adjuster had been knocked. turned it up a couple of turns and the bike fired up. I was then able to set the idle speed.

the kill switch would stop the bike cranking.

you could have a damaged fuse on the FI system - they don't always pop cleanly and can look healthy to the eye. for the cost of it, it is worth changing the fuse.

plugs are a possible but I doubt all 4 would go dead at once.

True about him bump starting but I am guessing that it's getting rattled and it primes. If you listen it's not priming, bike will not start unless this is on. So Ignition/run-stop switch/fuel pump relay/fuel pump power are the things to look at. Bad ground/bad relay to the fuel pump but revolves around this. You shouldn't look at the others till you can confirm that you have power to the relay for the fuel pump, the relay is engaging and supplying power and that the fuel pump has 12v and is turning on before attempting to start the bike. If you don't have these it's not going to start.

urgh taking to the shop tmw, its just too much to deal with during exam time (its exams here)

i hope its not too expensive ='/

In your video you don't have power to the fuel pump. You can't hear it prime that is why it's not starting. Unless you hear it prime and we can't hear it in the video. It's not something you can guess at but I am willing to put money on it your switch needs cleaned. It will take 5 minutes to clean it, if it's not the problem save yourself $100 labor for someone else doing it and charging you for 1hr for something that takes 5 minutes.
