If you want the best....get the Pitbulls!

I have Pitbull, Handy, and LP stands and the Pitbulls are the best IMHO. That being said, the others are still good stands and the Handy stands are the best bang for the buck although the front stand is not as stable as the Pitbull.

If you want to be able to remove your wheels, service your forks, etc. then you will need a front stand. If you just want an easier way to adjust and clean your chain then i would just buy the Handy rear stand for about $80.

Also, i'd highly recommend the spooled stands b/c they are more stable.....you will need to buy the swingarm spools in addition to the stands for this option.

I would have to second the Pitbulls, We have the acces to every kind of stand they make.

The only thing bad about the pitbulls, is that because of the size there expensive to ship. Whice sucks for us.....

After you get the pitbulls, check out the Baxley bike chocks....they are awesome for the track.

I really, really want to try one of those, think it would be especially handy when i'm at the track without anybody nearby to help me get the bike on and off stands......

I have the MRP Motorsports stand and I like it better than the Pit Bull. You can see the stand on mrpmotorsports.com

Check out the review on CBR600rr.com

It costsa more than the Pit Bull but it is all aluminum and requires less force to get the bike up on the stand.

....my buddy had his TLR up on his LP rearstand and it BROKE! Luckily he was standing right next to it and was able to keep the bike from smacking the pavement. He has now been using pitbull stands for about 3-4 years with no problems.

The other stands are fine for the RR or other light weight bikes but they are definately not as strong as a pitbull.....

My wife got me the front and rear pitbull stands for christmas. They look pretty tight, but I haven't been able to try em out. She doesn't know I've seen them. She needs to learn to hide things better.

I can vouch for the sturdiness and quality of the Pit-Bull stands. Great stuff. I have the Rear SS stand (can be used with or without spools) and the New Front stand (which lifts the front up from the triple tree, not the forks, in case you want to work on suspension).

That said, I've seen Power Stands in use by my local track day organizer, and they seem fairly sturdy.

pitbull stands

After reading this post I took the 25% off at cycle gear coupon and bought the damn things..I must say the pitbull stands are very impresive. I got both stands, rear ran me 105.75 and the front triple stand ran 112.50
