hey whats crackin a little question for ya. i have a 06 cbr 600rr and im wondering what the average running temp should be. at night she runs at aboot 184 to 190 and during the day its running at 220 to 224. before you kick me in the nuts my manual is awol, ua, or just plain missing. i think my wife put it away for me in other words she lost it for me thanks for the info.

it depends on what youre doing. If youre just sitting in traffic on a warm day, or driving fairly slow, it is normal for it to get up to 224 (fan kicks on around 219-220)

thanks for the info i was kinda wierded out by the temp so i poored some cold gasoline on it and that didnt work so i pissed on it but you guys are write it only attracts dogs and the cardboard caught fire after i poured the gas on it well thanks im glad its normal thanks

i have an 06, does the same thing. when running on highway and **** it's like 176 then in traffic like 218-220. it's normal man, nothing to worry about.

ya sounds perfect to me.. i have switched to water wetter, a lot of guys here prefer black ice i think its called or something like that. i got "marginal" results. i have only distilled and water wetter in.

but i know for car/trucks they allready have pre mixed 50/50 radiator fluid.

forget the name, but i know its out there. maybe if u want it cooler, get that, so ur perfectly on the mark for the mix and should have nothing to worry about.

yeah, mine runs hot all of the time on the highway it runs about 178-190, around town it'll hit 225.
