metric allen keys/sockets come in handy! Lots of the fasteners are allen (hex) bolts, so if you plan on taking your fairings off its good to have a set!

i'm gonin to sears no to buy a stripped bolt removal tool. are these your first tools? are you adding to a collection? cuz the first thing you need are the socket wrenches (a good set not the cheap fathers day special) and some allen keys (preferably w/ t-handles) the manual i'm sure you can find for free (pdf's never let me down)

plus a torque wrench that goes from 16 ft lbs at the least (fork pinch bolts) to 85 ft lbs (rear axle is 83)

special sockets
rear is 32mm front is 22mm
triple clamp is 30mm

get a motion pro axle removal tool

a micrometer helps make sure your rear wheel is perfectly aligned

breaker bar will help with the real tight bolts like the front and rear wheel as well as the front sprocket

god the list goes on and on

but service manual and front and rear stands should be your first bet
for 80 bucks you can get a manual and a T rex rear stand off of ebay
