My buds bike (new 06 600rr) will not start. Only hast 14 miles on it. Lights go on but when you push the start button all you hear is clicking from under the seat. I've heard that the prior years have had charging issues... does this apply to the newer years as well? Bike will start by jump starting it and push starting. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the response. Kinda whack that a new bike with a new battery will need to be recharged after that amount of mileage.

The dealer should have charged the battery before it left the shop.

just bump start it, ride around for a while. Or get a tender.
