just got a brand new battery for my bike today. when i turned the bike on the guages would not come on. so first thing i did was check the fuses and sure enough it was blown. however, when i replaced it and turned the bike back on the same fuse blew again. double checked my wiring for the taillights and signals and they were good, tried to start it again............blown fuse for the guages. anyone know why this might keep happening?? im all out of spare fuses so i am going to go buy some new ones and try to figure this out.

I would make sure that there are no shorts. I know you said you checked the wires. It just sounds like something is grounding out. Plus is the battery fully charged cause when the voltage gets low the amps get high and could blow stuff.

Haha, I hate that fuse. Is the only thing you did replace the battery?

I kept blowing that 10amp when I installed my license plate light since I used wires that were too low guage.
