Well, I laid my bike down at Hallett a few weeks ago and magically a black silver set of oem plastics appeared on ebay the next week... so I won msot of them (nose, left and right mid, tail, tank cover) ... all were listed as "Perfect condition"...

Well, the tank cover is the only piece I'm not happy with... I am going to update this with a couple pics when I can get them uploaded. I already sent an email to the guy... basically just said I can't waste $130 on a tank cover taht I can't use... but that I was happy with the other parts (won them all in SEPARATE auctions)... and asked if he'd take the tank cover back. He has nearly 4000 feedback so I'm guessing he'll be ok with it.

I wish I wasn't so anal about scratches... really irritates me some times!

But, on a good note, he packed the hell out of these things... now I have about $50 worth of good foam packing materials for my future ebay auctions!

Sorry to hear that, hope all works out.... ebay has been pretty good to me...but there are always CON artists out there!!!

i usually buy alot from ebay and he should of told you that the tank cover had a few scratches on it, write back to him and see what he tell you,
you can always sell the tank cover back on ebay and get what you pay for or more...
