Breaks squeeling--help!

I've owned my 03RR for almost 6 mos now and the breaks are starting to squeel when I come to a stop... we've all heard that sound before in a car!!! Any ideas? A friend said it's probably because I park it outside and the dust is getting in it... New Mexico is a pretty dusty place.

just put some lube in your brake caliper :roll:

and if that doesn't work buy a can of brake and contact cleaner and spray that stuff in and around your brake calipers and then let it dry that should do the trick :bounce:

I live in Albuquerque as well, i dont think it has much to do with the dust. My bike is garaged all the time and the back brake squeeks now and then. you could try brake cleaner.
