I heard that if I bring my 06' RR out then it has to have over 7500 miles on the Speedo, to be registered there is that true???

Any way around that???

YES and NO.

YES, the mileage thing is correct if you live here in CA and purchased the bike out of state to import into Ca. BUT it doesn't apply to you if you live out of state, registered it under your name in your home state, then move here to Cali. Just show them your previous registration papers. No need to swap speedos.

rendizzo is correct. If you are moving to Cali and it's your bike, you can bring it with you and you will be exempt from the 7500 mile rule. Also if you are military and are bringing it from your home state to Cali, you will be able to register it.
