I like the bike, it would be either that or the suki for my 3rd choice! but I love the RR, sad to say but the more i ride the RR the More i miss my 03 R6??? they are both good bike's, but the r6 just fit me better. But the kawi looks like **** but it is prettty ballzy, the suki looks better and dosnt have the mid-range the kawi does.

Think it's a pretty sweet bike. Haven't ridden it yet but know the suspension comes way to stiff in stock form, but it's otherwise a great bike. Just my opinion.
Give it a braced swingarm and it would be hard to beat.

I had the chance to ride a 636 for 2 days. You are right about the stiff ride but nothing that a little tweaking cant take care of. The bike was very fun to ride I must say. I would be happy w/ ANY of the 600's. I think the best looking 600 is the triumph but I didn't dig the 6000 mile valve inspection interval and price. Next would be the RR in looks.
As far as performance? All of em ride better than I so its all good in my perspective.
