Wondering what some good brands are? whether I should just stick with the OEM or get something stickier? I actually dont mind doing some cold weather riding, but I want something that will grip when heated. Any thoughts?
do pilot powers work good in the rain too?CBR/LS1 said:Pilot Powers are probably the most popular on the site and that's what I use. I get decent mileage out of mine and I can no where near push their limit. I think I got over 6k with my rear Pilot Power.
If you don't think you need the latest greatest DOT road race tire, the Metzler MZ6 is a great tire that will net around 9 to 10,000 miles. It's great in the rain, cold and it sticks very well.SlvrDoubleR said:Thanx for the input guys. I mostly ride around town, some highway, and I will take a 2 hour ride through twisty roads every now and then. I've been caught in the rain several times including last night. I guess I kind of need an good all-around tire.
I don't ride in the rain much so I couldn't tell you.hwang8 said:do pilot powers work good in the rain too?
