I know this is a anti Yami board, but I just wanted to give my thoughts to anyone else that might be thinking about it. 2002 R1 5300 miles.

First, What is done!
Full Hindle Exhaust
Power Comander
520 conversion
velosity stacks
slide stops
fuel pressure booster
full custom mapping
sliders
SS braided brake lines
and the suspension is fully tuned to my weight.

First Ride. AWWWEEESSSOOOMMMMEEEE. The power compared to the RR is incredible. We are talking about 50 more horses though. But the main difference was how smooth it was going through the gears. Just awesome power.

cornering is really good since it has all been adjusted to me. The 600 is not however. I would say that the R1 as it sits right now compared to the RR are identicle. However if I was to adjust the suspension on the 600 OMG what a difference that would make. Plus the R1 is not lowered. The 600 is 2" for my wife.

Don't get me wrong I love the CBR, But I do not know why the R1 gets dogged so much. Oh and here is some pics.

I don't hate on any of the bikes...and that R1 is a gorgeous bike. I'm assuming he repainted?

I think they just started the r1mn. Or at least I see it as a section in r6mn.
Yes it is redone a little. He said that he has done another like it but he does not think that the bike is around anymore. I looked through 128 pages of pics on the r1 forum and did not see another one like it. And that post went all the way back to 2003.

not a yami fan..they are just to uncomfortable for the street
This must be the most incorrect statement I have ever heard. You must be talking to someone that states that they sat on one or rode one. Because if you get on it, you will see that it is twice as comfortable as the 600 piece of plastic that is wrapped in leather.

Please remember, I love the CBR it is a fantastic bike and I keep up with plenty of 1000's through the twisties. But the seat is just not that comfortable.

I will get the damper, but he said he sold it before I even got the chance to try and get it included on the bike.
