I have to remove my kickstand fort WSMC and was curious how I do it. Someone told me I just cut the wire and ground them together but that didn't work. Anyong know how? Thanks!
You need to know if the switch is normally open or normally closed. If the switch is normally open then you need to twist the two wires together, if the switch is normally closed, then you should just be able to cut the wires and leave them.
hmmm well what the hell. I don't have any schematic so I don't know what else to try. I think if you pull your seat off, you will see a connector where the stand switch connects. Unplug that and short the first and third wires with a paperclip and see if that works.
Hmmm, I didn't bother taking off my switch. Just took the stem part off and kept the switch mounted. This way, you can put the stand back on without cutting any wires.

If you have cut the wires and shorted them together on the wire harness side, and it still doesn't work........... It's something else. btw. if you follow the wires for the sensor up a ways, there is a connector and you would not have to cut the wires, just jumper the connector!
Jamie, you should be able to do it by splicing the two wire together (green and green/white). Make sure the ignition switch is at ON first though, heheh
a friend of mine was telling me about a electronic visor that can switch from smoked to clear.

Hi,
I have tried to change from khp to mph the normal way ..... 'when on trip A press the reset button' - it does not work for me.
My speedo seems to be stuck on kph.
Anyone else have this problem? If so did you manage to changeto mph?
Anyone know why it would be stuck on kph?
Thanks.
So, below are a couple of pics from my old 1992 CBR600 (f2) - bought as the flamed pirelli, purchased some fairings from China for £350 and fitted myself - and I loved this bike.
Smashed it to bits at 4am one morning on my commute, taking a corner far too late - totally my fault.
So, latest...
Is it common to get condensation behind the dash glass,I’m assuming it’s the steam rising up from the radiator when the weather is wet. Can it cause any issues?
No idea how this happened but the coolant overflow tank somehow got a hole in the top. It looks burned but it's not by the head or exhaust. No coolant was left in it. I noticed it when I was changing the oil.
