Ok, so now that most companies have there exhaust readily available for the 600rr I been wanting to upgrade my stock to aftermarket pipe. I've been doing my homework, read post and seen dyno results..listened to pro and cons in this forum. So now my only gripe is this, I've noticed that some of the california peeps have been searching for this 49state header with slip on mod. Does the 49 state header give added performance over the cali header. Is the california bike that much more restricted?? I figure why not just get a full system if your gonna change the header out??? Thanks for listening..All advise would be appreciated...

This is exactly what you should do.

The cali header has a cat and 2 o2 sensors. the 49 state I believe only has 1 and not cat.
