Didn't we elect this Douchebag to repeal the car registration hike? Now he is going to reimpose it? WTF! These damn politicians need to get there head out of their asses and stop spending more than what this state makes. Seriously, if we didn't have so many special interest groups it wouldn't be that hard.

Norcal here . Just ran calculations and will be contributing 16.5k (max yearly contribution to my 401k)... I am finding other ways to shelter my money from CA and fedeal income taxes.. Both of these wreckles f&[email protected]#@ have shown no discipline and seem to be going along w/ the strategy of screwing over the productive people in society.. The people who follow the rules .. I guess because they feel we will sit back and just take it...

I am originally from FL.. I love CA but this state's tax business and budget is ridiculous.. Honestly.. So, I am saving up for the eventual action of moving back to FL and settling down there after I have stacked up my chips.. What this state has to offer is great but not at friggin 9.3% income tax on top of federal... And o' you can only deduct if you itemize...

Screw CA for this... I can't say who because its confidential info but some major tech companies are already planning on moving elsewhere when it comes to American locations... I can't quote directly but I will paraphrase...

We are a global company and being as such we must consider frankly that there are many other physical locations within the U.S that we can operate effectively and more cost effectively. It is nice to have a hub here in CA amongst other tech giants but given the global financial circumstances we must begin to reconsider what value this adds to our bottom line.. Given this, we have froze hiring and are looking at moving our workers to other locations in the U.S in the near future...

The world hasn't learned it's lesson yet as to what happens when you keep punishing productive people who do the right thing and act financially responsible and instead reward the unproductive and wreckless people...

O'well... I love the roads out here but when my job goes ... So Do I .
CA can kiss my :bootyshak in this regard and it will soon be paying for this ridiculousness of its budget blunders, high sales tax, high income tax, high ass cost of rent/living...

That felt good :all_cohol. O'well.. I am doing my part to put salt in the wound and shoving as much as I can away in tax shelters that avoid paying CA another red cent of my money.:icon_stud

Here's a thought, STOP ELECTING DEMOCRATS

Yeah, yeah, Ahnold is a republican, but in name only...

New York is in almost as bad of trouble, you should see the tax increases slated for us. It's all of the welfare benefits that are killing the state. Medicaid is the worst culpret. I think my county pulls in 19 million in taxes, and 18 of it goes towards paying for jobless single mothers with four kids that go to the doctors every time one gets a cold.

EDIT: Speaking of new taxes, here's their latest idea, TAX INTERNET PORN!! I kid you not

http://www.nydailynews.com/ny_local/2009/02/15/2009-02-15_adult_download_tax_proposal_awaits_clima.html

A state proposal to add a 4% tax for downloading movies and music will also apply to Internet porn.

Don't most people use stolen credit cards for that, I know mine has been jacked twice.

Gents,

On behalf of the great state of Georgia, I would like to extend an invitation for you to move to the Peach State.

Pros:

Low State income taxes
All year riding weather
Low cost of living
Low gas taxes
Low property taxes
Close to the Dragon
Road Atlanta
Roebling
Close to Barber and Talledega
Close to Jennings
Close to Blue Grass
Close to VIR

Cons:

Not as socially progressive as CA
No real beach (we have a little one, but it kinda sucks)

Living anywhere is a compromise, but I think Cali has a lot of cons to go with its pros.

Warm regards,

Georgia

THANK YOU!!!!!!

Don't worry Obama is gonna save you all..... he is after all a superstar!!
Anyone else notice that he is a worse public speaker than Bush when he isn't using a teleprompter?? And isn't that why everyone called Bush an idiot, because he wasn't that great at speaking? How long until we hear the same about Obama?

I noticed that a LONG time ago..he is lost without a teleprompter .. But with it, he makes great speeches and all the people in the country waiting for money fall into his lap... he is a GOD , he can do no wrong!!

Look at who this clown has chosen already in the short time he's been in office...2 or 3 or them had tax issues
(if that was one of us we would be in jail) and then someone recently left because they didn't agree with his policies.... That ought to tell us something , right there... This asshat doesn't even have a full staff yet!!

You wont ...nobody can say anything about him or they automatically become a racist.

Don't worry though...In about another year, everyone is gonna have a wake up call when they realize he ain't giving anybody sh!t

We can blame it on the Democrats, Republicans, or whoever else we can blame it on. There is a small group that we are forgetting to blame for all of this: US. The American people are the ones that vote for these people. I am one of them. I would not one bit surprised if there are a few members of this site that are part of some of the special intrest groups and lobbyist groups here in the good ol' USA. We, as Americans, have to band together to put a stop to all of this. But, alas, there is a problem; GREED. We, America, myself included, are the greediest bunch of bitches on the planet.
