Perhaps a bit of tape over the mic hole? I used the same mount with a different camera and had no noise at all.

i will try some tape tomorrow morning. thanks, if anyone else has a solution i am open to anything, with this camera the mic is on the top, on the view finder so all the wind reaches. it.

Maybe get an external mic you can plug into an audio port. Stash it somewhere behind the windscreen so you don't get that rushing wind noise. Tape is a cheaper option obviously, but then you won't have much sound and the quality will be severly degraded.

Foam over the mic works, or just turn off the mic in the cameras menu.
Funny i have the same mounts and camera. I haven't used i on the RR but running it on my Gsxr i never had a problem but the wind screen is much higher then the RR
