Well First of all my name is David and im 18 and i live in Australia. I sent this email to yoshimura and i was wondering if any of use guys can help me.

I have a CBR 600RR 03 and i have seen on your site how you have the RS-5 Exhaust system. I going to get a full System from you guys but i need to find a few things out first. Out of all your full exhaust systems which one will give me the most horsepower and run the best for my bike. What is the difference between a Normal full exhaust system and a race exhaust system. I want to get the Full system which runs the best and gives the MOST horsepower. Also does it make a difference to the power if its titanium stainless steel or carbon also if its Tri-oval or just normal oval.

Cummo, you are not really looking at this right. "Most HP" is nowhere near as important as a smooth power curve. Also, if you get to looking at Dyno charts, do not get wrapped up in the peak numbers, but in the curve themselves.

There is no power difference between ti, carbon and Al.

Is there any difference between the RS-3 full system and the RS-5 full system. Is there any difference between the Tri-Oval Race Systems compared to the RS-5 race full exhaust system. You get what i mean. Yoshi have a few full systems and i dont no which one to get.

I am deff getting a Yoshi though.

honda is right. i had a full system on my Mille that only got me 5 peak horsepower...but it gained 12rwhp @ 5,000 rpms and got rid of a big 5,000 rpm dip in the power curve.....the bike was so much better than other guys that got more peak ponies but still had a big dip in the midrange......

The RS-5 is the only pipe that Yoshimura makes that fits the 600RR.

Well it has come down to 2 systems for me RS-5 or An Ackrapovic one i think the evolution one so what do u guys think. could you give me pros and cons of eash one. Should i get a k&n air filer or a bmc.

My borther has an R1 with full yoshi system, turbo and nitrous he is a bike mechanic i hope he does not get caught though.

Hi and welcome.

You get really good bang for the buck with either the Yoshi FULL Stainless or the Yoshi FULL Ti/Stainless Systems. You should get a PC3-USB if you go this route... or with any FULL System for that matter for the RR.

As stated above... Yoshi only makes the RS-5 (race baffle only) for the RR... and this is somewhat of a trapeziod shaped exhaust... which is very WICKED looking. It is very light and high quality.
