but in NY its all ILLEGAL!!!

in ny with a permit you must be riding with a licensed driver, you must also have a light on your rear plate.

In cali a permit means you can ride by yourself. No passenger, no riding at night and no riding on the freeway.

Ditto here in MN

Same in Florida. It's not like a car permit where you need a licensed driver. Motorcycle permits have different restrictions all together.

NJ you need a licensed motorcylist riding with you (on another bike of course). Take the MSF course its easier.

DethMetal Jeff, but what if you only have one bike.. can't you have a motorcycle licnesed guy drivging in a car behind you? PLus u need don't mean that you must, do it?
