this kid in my school suggested i use motor oil to clean the grease off my chain and sproket. has anyone ever heard of this, if so does it work ? he says it does but i don't know him that well and don't want to mess anything up on the bike

it is bad ass.. i used it for the 1st time last weekend, love it.

I use wd40 to clean 90% of my bike

the only thing with the 611 is when u spray it on, the gunk falls right off, but u have to keep spraying to get it off the sprocket, then spray some more, as it runs down to the lower part of the sprocket, lol.

but really, the gunk comes right off.

Then don't spray on the top of the sprocket.
Spray toward the bottom of the sprocket until you get the chain all sprayed, then spray toward the top of the sprocket.

yeah i figured that after i started.
1st time using it, i really didnt expect it to work that well.
