I took my 07 RR to the dealer and had my 12k mile service but now my clutch cable rubs against the inside of the fairing, where it runs down from the lever which is annoying me.
I am not mechanically minded so can someone please help.
It feels quite tight too.
Cheers
Paul

It isn't loose. It is tight against the inside of the bike running across the top yoke and down the inside of the fairing to then the outside of the bike. I've not felt it so tight before and it hasn't rubbed where it goes down inside the bike, this is my concern.

I dunno I had a problem with my cable rubbing (08) on the inside of the fairing and I just put a square of some 3M stick-on foam on there and works great.

I know what your refering to, mine was doing this last night when I was tooling around with my 07. I don't have an answer on how to fix it. Mine stopped when I loosened the allen bolts on the right hand faring, not sure if that is the culprit.

I acutally think my clutch cable is not running the course is suppose to. I can see my clutch cable now through the gap in the fairing were you can see the radiator and it seems really close to the engine now. Is the clutch cable meant to be run through the faring then out the guide hole above the radiator? Seems like its wedge agaisnt the engine block and the fairing. I changed the oil recently and while doing so i think the cable is now in the wrong spot.

I know you don't have to on an 07, I only did it since I wanted to get to know the bike. All I can say is the two plastic screws under the headlights and the one on the belly suck. My god I hate them. I guess I'll have to take the fairing back off though since I'm worried that the protective lining around the cable melting. I swear I've never see the clutch cable through that gap before.

Cheers guys. I am thinking of changing it to behind the fork legs instead of how it is which is in front of the fork legs and making it quite tight but I might try the foam which I have ordered anyway due to my db screen buzzing like mad bees at the moment.
