just rode my 09 600rr for the first time today.. it has 700 miles on it.. i just wanted to know if its normal for the clutch to catch kinda high... the pressure of the clutch feels very firm but i just wanted to know if this is normal..

I'm pretty sure it's normal, it allows for a quicker shift the lever doesn't have to travel as far for the clutch to engage/disengage.

Sounds normal... But I am not sure that I understand what you mean.

The lever is tougher to pull than most bikes. And the friction point is close to the start of lever travel.

the clutch engages when the lever is closer to being let go not pulled in.. i was just saying it feels nice and firm so it feels new but just catches closer to when you let off
