I felt it would be a good idea to write a little review on my first track day. I went to the Carolina Motorsports Park in SC for a track day hosted by Track tactics. I left my house at 3am. Normally that woulb be a 3.5 hr drive but i had a flat on my trailer that set me back 1 hour. I already knew I was going to get there late so I keep driving and long behold... another flat just 2.5 miles from the track, I dropped the trailer and went to the track and asked for help. At least 5-6 people offered to help. Turk asked one of the guys if they could assist and they took me to my trailer in the crash truck to pick up the bike and toolbox off the trailer.

I got my bike through tech and i was shown were the classroom was. Thats where I met Joe Melendez, Very knowledgeable and explained things very well. He showed us some proper body positioning and shortly after we hit the track. Control riders pointed out the proper lines and slowly picked up the pace or bumped it down depending on how we did. Through the day they asked how everything felt and reminded me that help was just a question away. Overall a great group of guys.. at the end of the day they even asked me if I needed a ride. By then I had my trailer situation sorted out but I appreciated the fact they asked. If any of you are on the fence on attending one of their track days go ahead and sign up, you wont be disappointed! Thanks to the TT guys and gals for a great experience! :banger:

I was riding a black 06 600rr with the usual blue painters tape us noobs prefer. I was wearing red and white leathers with a red white and black shoei helmet. I'm not sure if I met you either. I need to make a name tag with my screen name on it to make things easier.
