Ok guys, this is the second time that happened and honestly i think that should be something wrong.
Long story short, today i've run out the bike from the garage since we finally got a sunny day after two weeks of rain.
Bike started without problem but as soon as it started the rpm was pretty unstable, i revved the engine a little bit(4-5krpm nothing more) and the engine flooded itself... done the usual procedure(full throttle open..etc..) and the bike fired up again without problem; put the first gear in and went for a couple of hours ride.
This is the second times that this happen and always in the same way, i got the problem only when the engine is cold, is this normal?
bike is a 08 with 20k km.

I start mine (when cold = 40F) and it runs a tiny bit rough....i do not rev it at all.

after 30sec's it smooths out.

do not rev until warm?

yep, will try to resist on doing that.:D

However i would be happy to understand why this is happening and if i can solve it.
I don't think that all RR out there will flood if revved when cold,am i in wrong?
if not, what can cause this? dirty air filter could be a starting point?
