i recently joined this forum in hopes to find greater wisdom from all of you

its a 2005 CBR 600RR and pretty beat up from being in a wreck
Has "5,000" miles on it but i have no idea if thats the actual mileage or not

my friend had purchased it in hopes to repair and ride
but he couldnt even get it to crank
i re-did alot of the rashed ripped or torn wiring connections and new fuses
checked for oil and coolant was empty (so i put some in)
new fuel and cranked it over and got it to start

noticed coolant shooting out the exhaust and allover my driveway
had to of been atleast 2-3 cups

Im thinking this would possibly be the head gasket is blown
possibly from the wreck?

I will do a compression check once i find my tool and also try a coolant pressure check

Did notice the engine sounded like it was running very healthy other than the fact coolant was gushing out the exhaust.

Could be just a blown head gasket from running it while being too hot or worse issues than that

Blown head gasket, cracked head, cracked block... take your pick, it could be any of them...

Good luck mate!

Update

Pulled engine
Torn it down
Headgasket looks fine
Worried to just slap on new headgasket and have the same problem
Other than the fact it's spitting coolant
The engine internals look almost brand new
No visible cracks or warping

Parents rushing me to clean up my mess
Only have till tonight then I have to just try a new headgasket and hope it works

check if the head or cylinder deck is warped, you're wasting work & gasket if they are indeed warped.

How brand new are we talking? Really really shiny almost no carbon brand new? That would be a sign that there has definitely been water in there...

Seriously... I've been for a week
So I picked up a motor from a guy who gave me a 98% guarantee that his motor worked (cheap)
Threw it all together and took awhile for the first fire up
(not surprised)
Then it finally ran and sounded great
Little white smoke probably from some grease
Killed it because I had bolts left to torque down
And I was super happy!!

Today I fired it up let it warm up and gave it some revs
Good ammount of white smoke with some of the coolant oil mix coming out
Could this be from left over residue a lover the inside of the pipes?
Or is this motor giving me the same Ish....
Will put up videos tonight

dont know why the video turned blue....
but theres the first start after several minutes of cranking, checking battery, ect.
never got a shot of it revving on the first day
nor do i remember it smoking on the first day....

ill record a video of the smoke im getting today

checked my fluids and the coolant has not mixed with the oil or vice-versa

Your not running on all cylinders there mate... that's why there is smoke and it sounds like crap...

Get it warmed up and measure the temp on each of the headers, the one that is cooler is the one that is misfiring... could be an issue with it's coil.
