I'm thinking about one of these. Has anyone used one, and are they really that much easier? I like the thought of having a stand that you can operate by yourself without a balancing act.

Here is the site....

its not hard to do it yourself, alone, with a standard stand. you dont even need to balance the bike. you just keep the bike on the sidestand, get the rear stand hooked on the left spool and pull the bike up till its vertical, keeping an eye on the right spool so it seats right. then you pull the bike all the way up. its reallly easy.

I was really worried about using a rear stand alone before I bought one and my buddy sent me this video he made showing how easy it is, even balancing the bike.

this is redline stand redlinestands.com I think. cheap-you paint it yourself. good quality. this technique works with most/all rear stands.

I use the new Pitbull forward handle rear stand. It works great and is super simple to use by yourself (That is how it is designed to be used). I used to have a similar stand made by a small company in Ca., but sold it with my old R6, and couldn't find them anymore. Any Pitbull dealer can get you the forward handle rear.
