I do it to. My vortex pegs are real grippy so I have to lift my foot to get out from under the shifter. I use reverse shifting as well. So after down shifting (pullin up on the shift lever) it's sometimes easier to just pull your foot outwards becaue the heel of your boot hooks the peg.
