You mean our 600RR's are the best? If you're talking strickly track usage, I would have to disagree. I love, and I mean really love my 600RR. But the Yami R6 has it all over our bikes. They're lighter, quicker out of the turns, have better ground clearnace and are easier to setup. That's why Honda decided NOT to race 600SS this year. They can't compete, so they basically wussed out and decided they would dominate a different class. Look at the competition. Pretty lame move as far as I'm concerned. Even is WSS last weekend the brand new Gixxer 600 and the 749 Duc finished ahead of the first Honda. Guess which bike took 1st and 2nd by a huge margin though? :roll:dsf600rr said:they finally realize that our 600s are the best out right now!

Not so. If you look at the new AMA rules, Superbike riders cant ride Supersport. So Unless Honda wanted to not have Duhamel and Bostrom in the Superbike race they couldnt race in the '600' supersport race. Next best thing (or better to some?) is the new FX class.Topshelf said:You mean our 600RR's are the best? If you're talking strickly track usage, I would have to disagree. As someone once said, "stupid is as stupid does"... :shock:Topshelf said:Either way, I still think Honda wussed out of SuperSport. And nobody is changing my mind, no matter how wrong I am.
Well, Zemke's actually taking over from Kurtis Robert's...remember that they're on the Erion Team; therefore, Erion wouldn't have any veteran riders in Superbike. Also, Roger Lee Hayden went over to Kawi, so Erion doesn't have anyone to run in Supersport who's got enough experience.Topshelf said:There's no reason they couldn't have Duhamel and Bostrom run Superbike and have Zemke and whoever run Supersport with the other big boys. Seems like everyone else figured it out...Well, guess Yami isn't running a factory Superbike team, are they?:headscratch: Either way, I still think Honda wussed out of SuperSport.
