I bought a Sony Handycam DVD recorder. It shoots great video, but when I attach it to the bike and start it up, I think the vibrations from the motor are causing the dvd to skip / shut off. The screen shows an error message and says data has been lost. Has anyone else had this problem and what did you do to alleviate it?

The battery is charged, the dvd is new, I can hold it in my hand and shoot video just fine so I don't think it's the camcorder.

HELP!

yeah had the same problem with my buddies it was on a 1000rr(the one thats totaled cause of a dumb female driver). first we fixed it by putting a buffer in the mounting screw then it would turn off in the twisties(gyro problems with the disc) so we sold it and bought him a mini DV like mine
