Hello,

Working on a 2008 Honda CBr600RR.

If I changed the whole exhaust for a racing set up, so its straight-through system, will the ECU pick up the changes through the lambda sensor and make the appropriate adjustments to the air/fuel mixture? As I thought the stock ECU is able to pick these changes up through the oxygen sensor and make appropriate changes to the fuelling? Or is a new fuel controller like the DynoJet Power Commander needed? Would appreciate if you could help me. I had an 08 R6 and changed their whole exhaust system and the ECU did adjust, but Im not sure regarding the CBR?

Thanks

The stock ECU will not make any(enough) changes to the fueling - you will need either a piggyback unit or a flash. Also you must deal with the EGCV being removed.
